- Production Executive – Role & Responsibilities
- A Production Executive is responsible for ensuring that production is completed safely, on time, at the required quality, and within the planned manpower/material cost.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning – Follow daily/weekly production plans and achieve targets.

- Manpower Management – Allocate operators/workers according to production requirements.

- Production Monitoring – Monitor line/machine output, downtime and efficiency.

- Quality Control – Ensure products meet prescribed quality standards and reduce rejection/rework.

- Machine & Process Coordination – Coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and process issues.

- Safety – Ensure workers follow PPE, safety procedures and shop-floor discipline.





- Material Management – Ensure timely availability and proper use of raw materials and consumables.

- Documentation – Maintain production reports, shift reports, rejection reports and downtime records.

- 5S & Productivity – Maintain workplace discipline and identify opportunities to improve productivity.

- Coordination – Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, HR/IR and EHS teams.

- Shift Handover – Communicate production status, pending issues and abnormalities to the next shift.

- Continuous Improvement – Support Kaizen, OEE improvement, waste reduction and cost reduction initiatives.
