Role Description The Engineer Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software engineers while ensuring the successful delivery of technical projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and prioritizing work, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing software development activities from design through deployment. The role involves reviewing architecture and code, guiding integration efforts with existing systems, and enforcing best practices in engineering, testing, and documentation.

The Engineer

Manager will track project progress, identify risks,



and remove blockers to maintain timelines and quality standards. This position also requires contributing to hiring decisions, performance reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills, with experience overseeing and mentoring software engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development, including understanding of modern programming languages, software design principles, and code review practices.
- Proficiency in Project Management, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver technical initiatives on schedule and within scope.
- Experience with Integration, including working with APIs, third-party services, and connecting complex systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Background in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Experience with agile methodologies, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
