Purpose of the role The incumbent in this role will be responsible for supervising the end-to-end assembly process of products, with a strong focus on meeting safety and quality standards.

Technical Skills Required

 GD&T; knowledge

 Knowledge of assembly tools such as torque wrench, spanners, pneumatic tools, etc.

 Knowledge of fasteners, their applications, and different types of joints

 Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, Poka Yoke, 3M, Kaizen, 5S, Jigs & Fixtures

 Basic knowledge of SAP for material requisition and material consumption

 Lean Manufacturing

 Strong knowledge in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics

 Knowledge of electrical assembly and wiring, including cable routing, crimping, termination, and connector assembly

 Knowledge of electrical components such as MCBs, relays, contactors, switches, sensors, terminals, connectors, and cables

 Knowledge of cable dressing, harness assembly, wire identification, ferruling, and proper termination practices

 Awareness of electrical safety practices, including isolation/LOTO, grounding, and protected handling of electrical equipment
