The Engagement Manager is the delivery lead on our enterprise programmes.

Our engagements increasingly run through to the systems that execute the pricing. A current programme covers a new packaging model, a new commercial model, and a migration from Salesforce CPQ to Revenue Cloud, working with the client's executive team, their systems integrator, and stakeholders across Sales, Deal Desk, Finance and RevOps. You would start there and take on further engagements as they come.

You own whether a programme lands. You are in the working sessions, you hold what was decided, you translate commercial intent into requirements the integrator can build against, and you check that what gets built is what was asked for.

Roughly 60% of the role is delivery and programme management. The other 40% is turning commercial decisions into business requirements: stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases and test scenarios. We write business requirements, not technical specifications. You will not be asked to write code or configure Salesforce. You do need to follow a systems discussion closely enough to know when something carries commercial consequence.

Responsibilities Delivery and programme management

- The quarterback. Lead delivery across the client, the systems integrator and the Monetizely team, aligned to a programme plan you own and maintain.

- Own the record. Decisions, actions, owners and deadlines. The standard is that Monetizely is never the party asking the client or the integrator what was agreed.

- Run the cadence. Working sessions, standing calls, design reviews. You set the agenda and you close the loop.

- Escalate early. Identify drift, ambiguity and slippage before it becomes a problem, and raise it with a recommendation attached.

- Client relationships. Build and hold multi-level stakeholder relationships across commercial, finance and systems functions.

Requirements and quality
- Translate commercial intent into requirements. Business-level stories, acceptance criteria and edge cases that an integrator can build from without guessing.

- Hold the coverage view. Check what has actually been delivered against what was specified, release by release, and raise gaps in writing before they reach testing. This is the function our clients value most.

- Design test scenarios and track what has and has not been verified.
- Produce the written work clients read: status, recaps, recommendations, escalations.

Minimum qualifications
- Significant experience delivering complex, multi-phase enterprise software implementations, in professional services, delivery or consulting at an enterprise SaaS company
- Experience running engagements with American and European enterprise clients, including at executive level
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise programmes
- Excellent written and spoken English, and sound judgement about what can and cannot be said to a client

Preferred qualifications
- Strategic advisory. Demonstrated focus on the why behind a business requirement over the technical how of its implementation.

- Influential leadership. Proven ability to command executive presence and lead technical teams through influence rather than direct reporting authority.

- Proactive problem solving. You treat a business problem as a puzzle to be solved rather than a metric to report.

- Communication.

Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.

- Commercial exposure to pricing, packaging, quoting, discounting or renewals
- Salesforce, CPQ or Revenue Cloud familiarity
- Experience working alongside a systems integrator
- Engineering/Science/Analytics background preferred

The shape of the role This is a hands-on role. You will be in the meetings, writing the requirements and maintaining the record yourself. There is no team beneath you today, though there will be as we grow, and the person who does this well will build it.

It sits in skilled services rather than customer success. The focus is on delivering the programme itself, rather than on adoption, account health or renewals, which sit elsewhere.

Working arrangement

- Full-time, based in Delhi NCR. This is a hard requirement.
- Daily overlap with UK hours and frequent overlap with US hours. The working day typically runs from early afternoon into the evening IST.
- Client confidentiality applies from day one.

About Monetizely Monetizely is a pricing strategy consultancy built by operators with nearly three decades of combined leadership in Product Management, Product Marketing and Pricing at companies including Zoom, Twilio, LinkedIn, Squarespace, Medallia and Microsoft. We are the authors of Price to Scale and teach a top-rated course on SaaS, Agentic and AI Pricing Strategy and Monetization.

We work with software companies from Seed stage to post-IPO on how they package, price and monetize. Increasingly that work does not stop at strategy. We take the pricing model through to the systems that run it: packaging, quoting, discounting, approvals, renewals and amendments, and the CRM and CPQ platforms underneath. We call it monetization engineering.
