Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician-Grade II - 108

Department: 108 Emergency Response Services

Experience Required: 5-10 years

Education: BSc Nursing, GNM, BSc MLT, BSc Physiotherapy, BSc Life Science.

Role Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide high-quality pre-hospital care and transportation for patients in emergency situations. EMTs will play a vital frontline role in responding to calls, delivering timely medical care, and maintaining readiness of emergency response vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

·Respond promptly to emergency calls assigned by Emergency Response Officers (EROs).

·Provide prompt Prehospital care (on-scene and En-route) to the victim or patient while transporting the patient to nearest / appropriate hospital.

·Conferencing with Emergency Response Centre Physician for taking medical directions in critical cases.

·Ensure accurate and timely handover of patients at the receiving hospital.





·Maintenance and updating the PCR form recording requisite patient information / vitals, details treatment / medicines used, and a copy dispatched as per directions.

·Participate in community awareness programs and ambulance demonstrations.

·Involve in assistance of community with the local authorities during disasters and epidemics.

·Strengthening the relations / interface with the Local Private and Public hospitals.

·Willing to undergo basic/ refresher Training and OJT as specified from time to time.

·To maintain prescribed records & adhere to SOPs / checklists.

·Upkeep of medical equipment & inventory maintenance.

·To maintain highest ethical standards and skilled integrity while ensuring prompt pre-hospital care.

·Keep always ambulance clean and hygienic.

·Should update & reorder the drugs and consumables well in advance.

·Attend to all emergencies without exception.

·Maintain IT Equipment properly.

· Be available for duty 24/7 as required by operational needs.
