We are looking for a thoughtful, team-oriented Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Kochi. In this role, you will help design and verify reliable, safety-critical software that powers life-improving medical devices.

How You Will Contribute
- Craft Reliable Firmware: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write, maintain, and refine low-level software components using Embedded C and Zephyr RTOS .
- Design Effective Test Cases: Read and interpret software detailed design documents with care, converting technical specifications into structured, comprehensive unit test cases.
- Drive Unit Verification: Execute unit verification methodologies using ZTest (or similar embedded testing frameworks) to maintain high software quality and reliability.
- Automate Testing Workflows: Use Python scripting to automate verification routines, streamline testing, and support smooth build pipelines.
- Uphold Medical Quality Standards: Apply IEC 62304 principles across the software development lifecycle to ensure full compliance with medical device standards.
- Collaborate via Version Control:
Utilize source code repositories (Git workflows) to share code, conduct supportive code reviews, and maintain clear traceability.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development and unit verification.
- Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Embedded C and practical, hands-on experience with Zephyr RTOS .
- Testing Frameworks: Practical experience using ZTest or comparable embedded unit testing tools (e.g., CUnity, GoogleTest).
- Automation: Solid knowledge of Python for test automation and workflow execution.
- Methodology & Standards: Sound understanding of software unit verification practices and working knowledge of IEC 62304 medical device lifecycle processes.
- Design & Version Control: Proven ability to analyze software detailed design specifications and work comfortably with modern source code repositories.
