Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Substation Testing & Commissioning Engineer to handle onsite testing and commissioning activities for substation equipment. The role involves planning, executing, supervising, and coordinating testing and commissioning works while ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit project sites and factories to understand and finalize requirements for substation testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare Testing & Commissioning schedules, method statements, HSE requirements, and related documentation.
- Carry out testing and commissioning of substation equipment as per approved procedures and methodologies.
- Prepare and submit Testing & Commissioning reports on time and coordinate for consultant/client approval and sign-off.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning activities.
- Supervise testing and commissioning activities performed by team members and provide technical guidance and training.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Prepare site visit reports, progress reports, and other project documentation.




- Plan and schedule testing and commissioning activities according to project requirements.
- Ensure the worksite is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Maintain proper records of test equipment, tools, and materials used at site.
- Perform other project-related responsibilities assigned by the Manager – Projects.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 3–4 years of onsite experience in Substation Testing & Commissioning.
- Solid knowledge of substation equipment testing and commissioning.
