Role Description This is a full-time, in office Electrical Site Engineer role based in Kolkata.

The Electrical Site

Engineer will oversee day-to-day electrical activities at project sites, including supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors and other engineering disciplines, monitoring work progress, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and technical standards. The role involves conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, supporting preventive and corrective maintenance, and maintaining accurate documentation and site reports.

Engineer will also assist in planning material requirements, verifying drawings and specifications,



and communicating status updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals, including a solid understanding of electricity and power distribution systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Site Supervision, with experience overseeing electrical works, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Electrical Testing, including using testing instruments, verifying system performance, and documenting test results.
- Candidates should possess experience in Electrical Maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in varying conditions.
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial electrical projects in or around Kolkata is an advantage.
