Role & responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance for electrical systems and production equipment.

- Maintain LT/HT distribution systems, transformers, panels, MCCs, motors, drives, control circuits, lighting and utility electrical systems as applicable.

- Troubleshoot electrical faults using approved test instruments and protected isolation procedures.

- Ensure LOTO, PPE, earthing, guarding and electrical safety requirements are followed before and during maintenance work.

- Coordinate shutdowns, installations, modifications and commissioning with Production, Utilities and other departments.

- Monitor critical electrical parameters, abnormal heating, load imbalance, insulation condition and recurring faults.

- Support maintenance of VFDs, starters, sensors, control panels and basic PLC-related interfaces within authorized competency.

- Maintain preventive-maintenance schedules,



breakdown history, inspection records and electrical drawings/documents.

- Identify critical spares and raise timely requirements for approved procurement.

- Support energy monitoring and electrical-loss reduction initiatives without compromising safety or process requirements.

- Investigate recurring electrical failures and implement approved corrective/preventive actions.

- Immediately report unsafe conditions, major faults, near misses or equipment risks to the Maintenance Manager.
