Job Title: ETP & ZLD Plant Head (Erection, Commissioning & Operations)

Position Overview

VHM Tex India is a premium textile processing unit committed to sustainable manufacturing. We are currently installing a high-capacity, state-of-the-art Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) facility. We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Plant Head to lead the erection, commissioning, and long-term daily operations of this infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a technical master of ZLD machinery who excels at team leadership and floor-level problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

- Erection & Commissioning (E&C;)
- Lead and oversee the complete mechanical and electrical erection of the new ETP and ZLD plant.
- Coordinate with machinery vendors (Microvision, Unitop, AS Engineers, Technofanghi) during the installation phase.
- Execute successful plant commissioning, ensuring all systems meet designed performance parameters before handover.
- Technical Plant Operations
- Manage the continuous, seamless operation of the ZLD facility to ensure 100% adherence to zero liquid discharge goals.
- Oversee the fully automatic, PLC/SCADA-based operations of the 2000 KLD Ultrafiltration and 3-stage RO systems.
- Manage the 105 KLD Quadruple Effect Evaporation Plant (MEE) and ATFD to optimize steam and power consumption.
- Ensure efficient sludge management through the continuous operation of the 500 Kg/Hr steam-based Sludge Dryers and 20 m3/hr capacity Belt Presses.
- Monitor chemical dosing, membrane health,



and high-pressure pump efficiency to minimize downtime and maintenance costs.
- Team Leadership & Management
- Direct, train, and manage a dedicated shift-based team of 20 plant operators and technicians.
- Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for daily machine operations, cleaning schedules, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular technical training for the team to improve floor-level troubleshooting capabilities.
- Maintenance & Optimization
- Design and execute a strict preventative maintenance schedule for all membranes, evaporators, pumps, and dryers.
- Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational breakdowns on the floor.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech / B.E.) in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of core, hands-on experience in ETP and ZLD plant operations within an industrial manufacturing environment (Textile processing experience is highly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in running MEE, ATFD, RO membranes, and Sludge Dryers.
- Core Competency: Purely focused on technical plant operations, floor management, and mechanical efficiency.
