Job Summary

We are looking for an E-commerce Product Research Executive who is interested in product and market research and can evaluate products based on market demand, trends, competition, pricing, specifications, and profit potential.

Key Responsibilities

- Research trending, high-demand, and potentially profitable products across online marketplaces and other platforms.
- Conduct market and competitor research to compare products, pricing, features, customer reviews, and market positioning.
- Research and communicate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to collect information about product pricing, specifications, availability, MOQ, and customization options.
- Compare products, pricing, suppliers, manufacturers, and competitors to identify suitable product opportunities.
- Analyze product cost, market pricing, demand, competition, and potential profit margins.
- Track new products, market trends, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities.
- Maintain product, competitor, pricing, and vendor research data in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Prepare and share product research findings and comparisons with the internal team.




- Support the team in evaluating and validating new product ideas.

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in E-commerce, Product Research, Market Research, Product Sourcing, or a related field.
- Robust interest in product and market research.
- Good understanding of online marketplaces and e-commerce products.
- Strong research, competitor analysis, and analytical skills.
- Understanding of product pricing, demand, competition, and profit margins.
- Comfortable communicating with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently research, compare information, and identify potential product opportunities.
