Key Responsibilities

1. Data Protection Program Management

- Lead the management and optimization of DLP policies across endpoints, email, and cloud platforms.

- Drive collaboration with technical teams on advanced data discovery and classification solutions.

- Champion the leveraging of AI for anomaly detection, significantly enhancing data protection solutions.

- Provide strategic reporting on DLP metrics and trends to senior leadership.

- Data Flow Management and Strategy

- Lead initiatives to map and document complex data flows, ensuring accuracy and completeness across the organization.

- Identify sensitive data repositories and flows, conducting comprehensive risk assessments associated with their storage, processing, and transmission.

- Incident Management and Risk Mitigation Leadership

- Leverage advanced AI/ML to identify anomalous user behavior and exfiltration attempts, moving from reactive alert management to predictive risk mitigation.

- Lead and direct investigations into critical data protection incidents, including data breaches and unauthorized access events.

- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the incident response plan for data protection-related events, ensuring rapid and effective resolution.

- Team Leadership, Training & Mentorship:

- Lead, guide, and mentor security engineers and interns on data protection principles, industry best practices, and advanced security tool usage.

- Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and conduct hands-on workshops to enhance the team's technical and analytical skills.

- Provide continuous feedback, support,



and career development guidance to team members, fostering their growth in real-world security scenarios.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security or related field.

- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in information security, with a robust focus on Data Protection, DLP/CASB/MDM implementation & Management, etc.

- Expertise in leading and managing DLP tools and strategies.

- In-depth knowledge of data encryption, tokenization, and data classification technologies, with experience in their strategic implementation.

- Strong understanding of data flow diagramming and advanced risk analysis techniques.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of presenting complex information to diverse audiences.

- Proven strong project and program management skills.

- Ability to effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

- Proven experience in securing GenAI platforms.
