Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Django Developer role based in Delhi, India.

The Django

Developer will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that power StarClinch Express’s quick commerce platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing current features, integrating third-party services, optimizing database queries, and troubleshooting issues across staging and production environments.



The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, product managers, and operations teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

The Django

Developer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development workflows and deployment processes.

Qualifications

- Strong Back-End Web Development skills with Django, RESTful APIs, and server-side frameworks.
- Solid Software Development experience, including version control (Git), testing, and debugging.
- Understanding of Front-End Development concepts and ability to work with front-end teams (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks preferred).
- Proficiency in Programming with Python and familiarity with object-oriented design and best practices.
- Experience working with Databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational systems, including schema design and query optimization.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with containerization, cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus, as is prior work on marketplace or commerce platforms.
