Role Description The Director of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations for the regional business. This position oversees budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning aligned with organizational objectives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial reporting cycles, reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies, and providing analytical insights to support executive decision-making. The Director of Finance will collaborate closely with operations, development, and corporate teams to evaluate investment opportunities,



monitor performance metrics, optimize costs, and support sustainable growth. The role also involves strengthening internal controls, supervising finance team members, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance with proven experience in senior finance leadership roles within hospitality or related industries.
- Expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial strategy.
- Ability to prepare, interpret, and review Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
- Demonstrated Financial Reporting skills, including management reports, KPI dashboards, and regulatory filings.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, trend analysis, risk assessment, and performance evaluation.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA, CFA) are an advantage.
- Robust knowledge of financial controls, compliance frameworks, and relevant accounting standards.
- Proficiency with financial systems and ERP tools, along with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Effective leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Experience working in multi-location or regional structures and comfort operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
