Key Responsibilies
- Manage the organisation’s presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X,
YouTube, and other relevant channels.
- Develop and maintain monthly and weekly social media calendars.
- Write captions, posts, scripts, campaign copy, hashtags, and platform-specific content.
- Schedule and publish content while ensuring consistency in tone, branding, and messaging.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience conversations.
- Coordinate with design, video, marketing, product, sales, and leadership teams for content inputs.
- Track relevant industry trends, competitor activity, platform updates, and content opportunities.
- Support product launches, events, campaigns, employer-branding initiatives, and corporate communication.
- Convert long-form content, presentations, reports, videos, interviews, webinars, and internal updates into social media posts, reels, carousels, short videos, and captions.
- Prepare content briefs for graphic designers, video editors, and other creative resources.
- Create basic graphics, short-form videos, reels, and visual content using tools such as Canva, CapCut,
Adobe Express, or equivalent platforms.
- Maintain a structured repository of content assets, templates, brand references, and approved communication.
- Use generative AI tools for content ideation, research, drafting, rewriting, summarisation, scripting,
and content repurposing.
- Build and manage automated workflows for activities such as:
- Content-calendar preparation
- Post scheduling
- Approval reminders
- Content repurposing
- Lead or comment tracking
- Competitor monitoring
- Social media reporting
- Performance dashboards
- Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Canva AI, Notion AI, Zapier, Make, n8n, Buffer, Hootsuite,
Metricool, or equivalent platforms.
- Create reusable prompts, templates, standard operating procedures, and automation workflows for recurring social media activities.
- Evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, originality, brand alignment, tone, and factual correctness before publication.
- Ensure that confidential, personal, proprietary, or sensitive organisational information is not entered into unauthorised AI tools.
- Regularly identify processes that can be automated without compromising quality or authenticity.
- Monitor reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, watch time, clicks, leads, conversions, and other relevant metrics.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Conduct content-level analysis to identify which formats, themes, hooks, timings, and platforms perform best.
- Recommend improvements based on performance data rather than relying only on vanity metrics.
- Track campaign objectives and support the measurement of return on effort and return on investment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business, Media, English, or a related field.
- Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in social media management, digital marketing,
content creation, or brand communication.
- Demonstrable experience using AI tools for content production or workflow automation.
- Solid command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to write clearly in different tones, including professional, conversational, promotional, and informative.
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms, scheduling tools, analytics dashboards, and content-management processes.
- Basic graphic-design and short-form video-editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate with different stakeholders
