DevOps Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Automation Engineer to join our growing cloud and platform engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration platforms, and observability solutions. This role requires strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps automation, and Site Reliability

Engineering (SRE) practices.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who can quickly become productive within a fast-paced environment while collaborating closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps Strategy &

- Automation
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Implement and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
- Drive continuous integration, continuous deployment, and process improvements.

AWS Cloud Infrastructure

- Architect, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure

AWS environments.

- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, reliability,

and cost efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to organizational security and compliance requirements.

Kubernetes &

- Container Management
- Deploy, maintain, and scale containerized applications using

Kubernetes.

- Manage cluster health, upgrades, and operational excellence.
- Support microservices-based architectures and deployment strategies.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Develop and manage Terraform modules and automation frameworks.
- Leverage Crossplane and cloud-native technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

Monitoring &

- Observability
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and system bottlenecks.




- Utilize tools such as New Relic to improve system visibility and reliability.

Reliability &

- Operations
- Develop disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Participate in production support, on-call rotations, and incident management when required.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.

Collaboration &

- DevSecOps
- Partner with software developers, QA engineers, and security teams.
- Integrate security best practices into development and deployment workflows.
- Support platform modernization and automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,

Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

- 3+ years of hands-on DevOps and platform engineering experience.
- 2+ years of AWS cloud experience.
- 2+ years of Kubernetes administration and deployment experience.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
