Key Accountabilities
- Lead HV/EHV substation design and bid engineering activities.
- Oversee preparation of specifications, design calculations, layouts, and BOQs.
- Ensure adherence to IEC, IEEE, ANSI standards.
- Review and finalize tender-stage engineering deliverables.
- Lead technical discussions with clients and vendors.
Execution of Contracts
- Lead team for preparation of all design deliverables:
- SLD, GA, layouts, EKD, DLSP, earthing, cable layouts, illumination, BOM.
- Review and approve vendor drawings and documents.
- Interface with Control & Protection teams; review schemes.
- Validate critical design calculations.
- Monitor design schedules and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
- Manage and mentor engineers and draughtsmen.
- Ensure effective multi-discipline coordination (civil, mechanical, etc.).
