We are looking for a Design Engineer with solid knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD to develop 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing documentation. The candidate will work closely with production, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to ensure designs meet technical, functional, and manufacturing requirements.

Department: Engineering / Product Design

Experience: 1–5 years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Location : Chennai / Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D part models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop and modify designs based on customer or project requirements.
- Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and detail drawings.
- Apply GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and engineering standards where required.
- Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Generate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and maintain engineering documentation.




- Perform basic design calculations and verify dimensions and specifications.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, procurement, and quality teams to resolve design issues.
- Review drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with specifications.
- Modify existing designs to improve cost, performance, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design improvements.
- Maintain proper revision control of drawings and design files.
