Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with strong expertise in mechanical design and product development. The candidate will be responsible for the conceptual and detailed design of assemblies and components related to web guiding and web monitoring systems.

The ideal candidate should have experience in mechanical product development, series development, sheet-metal design, and parametric CAD modelling, preferably from the flexible printing and packaging industry or a closely related industry.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical design, development, and conceptual design of assemblies and components for web guiding and web monitoring systems.

Create detailed design drawings, technical documentation, and parts list structures.

Develop parametric and variant-based CAD models.

Support product maintenance and further product development.

Develop products up to testing and validation specifications.

Design sheet-metal components and mechanical assemblies.

Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Testing, and Manufacturing teams.

Analyze existing products and implement design improvements.

Support series production and product standardization.

Ensure designs meet technical, quality,



and manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design/product development.

Very good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, especially parametric variant design and kinematic CAD models.

Knowledge of PDM/PLM and ERP systems.

Experience in series development.

Knowledge of Sheet Metal Design.

Knowledge of drive technology, sensor technology, and optics/web monitoring.

Basic knowledge of PTC Mathcad and FEM.

Strong technical creativity in mechanical product development.

Analytical, structured, and goal-oriented approach.

Mandatory: Experience in the flexible printing and packaging industry or a similar industry.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
