Position Overview The portfolio lead – motor underwriting will be responsible for monitoring growth and profitability of Motor line of business, actively managing portfolio performance, and driving strategic initiatives to increase market share.

Role and Responsibilities

- Monitor growth and profitability of Motor line of business.
- To execute central level strategies and Conduct competition benchmarking for growth and profitability
- Deep mine opportunities and strategize as per central guidelines
- Actively manage portfolio by sharing insights and taking decisions to weed out non-preferred business.
- Devise Tech based solutions and work towards current generation products.




- Analyze and manage channel-wise and overall P&L; for Motor line of business.
- Formulate strategies to increase market share.
- Share various reports with senior management on portfolio performance.

Education & Experience requirements

- Minimum 8-12 years in General Insurance with exposure to Motor portfolio/underwriting management.
- Strong understanding of P&L; management and strategic planning.
