SBI Foundation is the CSR arm of State Bank of India, established in 2015 to implement the CSR initiatives of the Bank and its subsidiaries. The Foundation works towards inclusive and sustainable development through strategic interventions focused on vulnerable and marginalized communities across India.
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) drives disability inclusion initiatives across accessibility, skilling, livelihood, rehabilitation, assistive technology, education, and ecosystem development
Position: Deputy Manager ( Centre of Excellence for Persons with Disabilities)
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Employment Type: On Roll, subject to successful completion of probation period.
Deadline for Applications: 05.10.2026
Salary: The fixed CTC for this role will be between 7.5 to 10.5 LPA, plus up to a 15% variable component linked to annual performance. The final CTC offered will depend on interview performance, relevant experience, and skill set.
Required Qualification
● Master’s Degree from a reputed institution/university in Disability Studies, Rehabilitation, Inclusive Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Management, or related disciplines is mandatory.
● Additional specialization/certification in disability inclusion, accessibility, rehabilitation, or allied fields will be preferred.
Required Experience:
● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CSR, disability inclusion, social sector, or development sector program/project management.
● Experience in managing CSR/development projects and coordinating with NGO partners is essential.
● Experience in coordinating junior team members and cross-functional stakeholders is required.
● Experience in program monitoring, evaluation, budgeting, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and coordination is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the conceptualization, implementation, monitoring, and management of CSR programs in the disability sector in partnership with NGOs, institutions, government bodies, and ecosystem stakeholders.
The role requires strong program management, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, budgeting, coordination, analytical, and execution capabilities. The incumbent will work closely with the Manager and senior management for program planning, portfolio coordination, governance, institutional partnerships, and program-related decision-making.
Strategic Program Development and Sector Engagement
● Support conceptualization and development of CSR projects and interventions in the disability sector.
● Support identification of scalable program opportunities aligned with organizational priorities and sectoral needs.
● Develop concept notes, presentations, sectoral reports, policy briefs, and knowledge documents.
● Develop and maintain relationships with NGOs, institutions, corporates, government bodies, experts, and ecosystem stakeholders.
● Identify innovative models, best practices, and potential partnerships in the disability sector and share recommendations with the Manager.
● Participate in consultations, conferences, workshops, and stakeholder forums as required.
● Contribute to program strategy and institutional engagement in the disability ecosystem.
Program Management and Delivery
● Support end-to-end management of CSR programs/projects from onboarding to closure.
● Ensure projects are implemented within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and deliverables.
● Coordinate project implementation, operational planning, and execution processes.
● Coordinate with NGO partners, consultants, and internal teams for effective project delivery and issue resolution.
● Review implementation progress and ensure achievement of program objectives and outcomes.
● Guide and coordinate junior team members, associates, and partners for effective project execution, reporting, and coordination.
● Support senior management in project reviews, approvals, presentations, and program discussions.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Program Governance
● Support development and implementation of monitoring frameworks, KPIs, governance systems, and review mechanisms for projects and programs.
● Monitor implementation quality, project risks, fund utilization, and outcome achievement across assigned project portfolios.
● Participate in project reviews, field assessments, and stakeholder consultations to assess program effectiveness and alignment with organizational objectives.
● Support and coordinate impact assessment, third-party evaluation, and outcome measurement exercises for projects.
● Review Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs), Quarterly Progress Reports (QPRs), utilization reports, and project documentation for management review and decision-making.
● Identify corrective actions, process improvements, and risk mitigation measures based on project performance and field observations, and share recommendations with the Manager.
Budget Management and Strategic Stakeholder Engagement
● Support program budget management, utilization tracking, financial reviews, and resource planning for assigned projects/programs.
● Support proposal evaluation, due diligence, project appraisal, and partner assessment processes.
● Build and maintain working relationships with NGOs, institutions, corporates, consultants, government bodies, and ecosystem stakeholders.
● Support the Manager and senior management in program planning, portfolio reviews, project approvals, and stakeholder discussions.
● Ensure compliance with organizational policies, CSR guidelines, documentation standards, and reporting requirements.
● Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaboration, and program expansion in the disability sector and support their evaluation.
Strategic Communication and Institutional Branding
● Support development of communication material, impact documentation, and knowledge resources for organizational visibility and stakeholder engagement.
● Support project positioning, institutional outreach, and stakeholder communication initiatives.
● Contribute to annual reports, management presentations, sectoral publications, leadership briefs, and institutional communication materials.
● Facilitate documentation of high-impact interventions, best practices, and program outcomes for external engagement and knowledge dissemination.

● Good team coordination, collaboration, and mentoring capabilities.
Additional Tasks: Perform any other duties assigned by SBI Foundation Management.
Although the individual will work in a small team, it is essential that the chosen candidate can work in an independent manner to complete the given tasks in a time-bound manner.
