Location: Bangalore
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work on the development, assembly, testing, repair, and maintenance of Electro-Optics instruments.
- Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed mechanical designs using engineering principles and CAD software, including 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, layouts, BOMs, specifications, and design reports.
- Ensure compliance of all designs and engineering activities with industry standards, safety regulations, client specifications, and quality requirements.
- Support product development activities such as feasibility studies, prototyping, design validation, and engineering modifications.
- Plan, monitor, and support manufacturing and production activities, including production documentation.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve issues in production, assembly, installation, and operations through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Conduct functional, performance, endurance, reliability, inspection, and quality testing of systems, products,
and components; analyze results and prepare technical reports with recommendations.
- Support quality assurance activities including audits, inspections, compliance verification, documentation control, and CAPA implementation.
- Provide technical support for installation, commissioning, preventive/predictive maintenance, and reliability improvement of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, procurement, vendors, contractors, and clients) for effective project execution.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, presentations, maintenance manuals, and other required engineering deliverables.
- Participate in trials and evaluations of various projects/products of Alpha and its partners.
- Adhere to workplace health, safety, environmental, confidentiality, and company engineering policies.
- Travel to project locations in India or abroad as required.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by Management.
Key Skills :
- CAD Software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Material Science & Manufacturing Processes GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Manufacturing Costing & Estimation.
Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
