Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise overall factory operations, including production, processing, packaging, and dispatch.
Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and resources.
Maintain quality, hygiene, food safety, and manufacturing standards.
Monitor production costs and identify prospects to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Sales, Accounts, and Dispatch teams.
Ensure timely preventive maintenance of machinery and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns.
Manage and guide factory workers, supervisors, and production staff.
Ensure compliance with factory, labour, safety, and statutory requirements.
Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and manpower requirements.
Maintain production records, MIS reports, stock records, and operational documentation.
Handle operational issues and take timely corrective actions to avoid production delays.
Drive continuous improvement in productivity, processes, quality, and cost efficiency.
