A Data Operator is responsible for entering, updating, verifying, organizing, and maintaining data in computer systems and databases. The role requires accuracy, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of information efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enter data from physical documents, forms, files, or other sources into computer systems.
- Verify data for accuracy and correct errors or missing information.
- Scan and upload documents into the Document Management System (DMS).
- Perform data entry, indexing, tagging, and classification of documents.
- Maintain digital records and organize files and folders properly.
- Use MS Office applications such as Excel and Word for data processing and reporting.
- Assist with document scanning, OCR, and digitization activities.
- Search and retrieve records when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of official documents and data.
- Prepare daily/weekly work reports and maintain productivity records.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to complete assigned work within deadlines.




- Follow departmental procedures and quality-control guidelines.

Required Skills:

- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good typing and data-entry skills.
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with large volumes of documents/data.
- Basic knowledge of scanning, PDF handling, and document management systems.
- Good communication and time-management skills.

Typical Qualification: 12th pass or graduate, with basic computer knowledge. Previous experience in data entry, scanning, digitization, or office work can be an advantage.

In a digitization/scanning project, the Data Operator may specifically handle the workflow of document scanning → image checking → OCR → indexing → data entry → quality checking → uploading to DMS/e-Office.

Pay: ₹311.00 - ₹460.61 per day
