About the Job

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Data Engineering Manager to join our team and drive the design, development, and evolution of modern data platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, data architecture, real-time data processing, data lake platforms, and distributed data systems, along with the ability to lead technical initiatives and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

- Lead the design and evolution of scalable data engineering platforms and pipelines, from ingestion through analytics-ready data layers.
- Design and manage real-time data processing and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka/MSK and Debezium CDC.
- Build and maintain robust frameworks for data ingestion, validation, transformation, and replication using Java and/or Python.
- Design, implement, and manage modern Data Lake architectures using Apache Iceberg, AWS Glue, Athena, and Amazon S3.
- Design and maintain analytical data models using technologies such as Apache Pinot, Redshift, and BigQuery.
- Drive the adoption of modern data orchestration and processing technologies, including Apache Airflow.
- Implement scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS, ECS/EKS, Docker, and Terraform/CDK.
- Work closely with engineering, analytics, product, and business teams to support data-driven initiatives.
- Establish best practices around data quality, observability, lineage, governance, and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams.

Must-Have Experience





- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related roles
- Robust hands-on experience in Apache Pinot
- Proven experience designing and implementing Data Lake architectures
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka / AWS MSK
- Hands-on experience with Debezium and CDC
- Strong understanding of real-time and event-driven data architectures
- Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg, AWS Glue, Athena, and Amazon S3
- Experience with Apache Airflow
- Strong programming experience in Java and/or Python
- Experience with Redshift and/or BigQuery
- Strong understanding of streaming and batch processing
- Experience with modern data formats such as Parquet and Avro
- Experience with cloud-native technologies such as ECS/EKS, Docker, and Terraform

Good to Have

- Experience with dbt, Trino/Presto, ClickHouse, or Druid
- Experience with NoSQL databases / RocksDB
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience with GitHub Actions and Terraform/CloudFormation
- Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance
- Experience working with FinTech or financial services environments

Work Details

- Location: Noida
