Role Summary:
As an analyst, you will work in a cross-functional environment with AI/ML technologies contributing to projects of high impact across multiple aspects of reviews abuse and harm fighting for map use cases on user-generated content, including customer reviews, media on business listings, claims to business, and business listings, etc. You solve complex, open-ended abuse problems in UGC Reviews that require investigative skills, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills while working closely with PgM & Eng. You develop strong domain knowledge and deeply understand all aspects and viewpoints in identifying the abuse.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep and complex analysis to investigate the problem, data-oriented decision-making based on analysis and insights keeping user trust at the forefront.
- Leverage diverse data signals and sources to conduct investigations into spam patterns,
spearheading anti-abuse initiatives and experiments for map platforms.
- Produce detailed statement of reasoning clearly stating the rationale for arriving at conclusion along with evidence.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, delivering complex projects, and solving open-ended problems.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, investigative mindset, structured thinking, and attention to detail.
- Robust communication skills with the ability to present analysis results to senior management.
- Ability to draft comprehensive case reports and detailed observations.
