Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Data practice. The role focuses on data engineering, ETL development, analysis, and insights within the Banking/Finance domain, while also requiring basic exposure to Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Modeling concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing using Python, PySpark, and SQL.

Work with diverse financial data sources to extract, clean, transform, and integrate datasets.

Collaborate with business teams to translate banking/finance requirements into data-driven solutions.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting, validation, and analytics use cases.





Provide data analysis and insights to support business, compliance, and regulatory initiatives.

Apply exposure-level knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Modeling to support best practices.

Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in data solutions within financial services.

Work in agile teams, mentoring junior members and collaborating with stakeholders across technology and business.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analysis, ETL, and Data Engineering.

Solid programming experience in Python with proficiency in PySpark.

Expertise in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

Hands-on experience working with banking or finance domain datasets.

Exposure or understanding of

Data Governance (lineage, metadata, access management)

Data Quality (basic rules, monitoring, validations)

Data Modeling (dimensional models, logical/physical concepts)

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and in agile, cross-functional teams.
