Role Description

As a Data Analyst Intern, you’ll work with Whilter’s team to collect, organise, and analyse data that supports business and product decisions. You’ll gain practical experience in cleaning datasets, building reports and dashboards, and turning data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and organise data from spreadsheets, databases, and business tools.
- Check data for accuracy, missing values, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
- Use Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL to support day-to-day analysis.
- Present findings through transparent charts, summaries, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with business, marketing, and engineering teams to understand their data requirements.




- Document data sources, calculations, and reporting processes.

Qualifications

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of data analysis and statistical concepts.
- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and filtering data.
- Familiarity with Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain findings clearly and manage assigned tasks independently in a remote environment.
