Role Purpose The Store Manager is responsible for the seamless daily operations of the outlet. This includes driving sales targets, managing a team of book enthusiasts, ensuring impeccable visual merchandising, and maintaining the high customer service standards that the Om Book Shop brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Management
Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales KPIs.
Data Analysis: Monitor daily sales reports and identify "bestsellers" versus "slow-movers" to optimize stock.
Upselling: Train staff on suggestive selling techniques (e.g., recommending a recent release based on a customer's interest in a specific genre).
Operations & Inventory Control
Stock Management: Oversee the procurement, inwarding, and outwarding of books and stationery.
Shrinkage Control: Implement strict measures to prevent pilferage and damage.
Inventory Audits: Conduct regular stock-takes to ensure system accuracy.
Visual Merchandising (VM)
Aesthetic Standards:



Ensure the "Recent Arrivals," "Bestsellers," and "Staff Picks" sections are visually engaging and updated weekly.
Promotions: Execute in-store displays for book launches, seasonal sales, or literary festivals.
Team Leadership
Training: Educate staff on book genres, authors, and customer handling.
Rostering: Manage staff shifts and attendance to ensure optimum floor coverage during peak hours.
Motivation: Foster a culture of "reading" among staff so they can provide authentic recommendations.
Customer Experience
Service Excellence: Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism.
Community Building: Oversee in-store events, such as author signings or book reading sessions, to engage the local community.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
