About the Role

We are looking for a Cyclotron & Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring reliable production of radio-isotopes, including F18, while maintaining cyclotron, equipment, and site utilities. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, production support, safety compliance, and continuous technical improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform cyclotron troubleshooting, maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure maximum cyclotron uptime and minimize equipment downtime.
- Support the production team and operate production processes when required.
- Review production techniques and equipment and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and update technical SOPs, maintenance documents, and reports.
- Maintain inventory of cyclotron parts, equipment, and site maintenance spares.
- Coordinate with suppliers for equipment evaluation, selection, and maintenance requirements.
- Monitor and report maintenance metrics and technical interventions.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and applicable regulations.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and reduced maintenance downtime.




- Implement relevant technical innovations to improve performance, quality, and radioprotection.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor’s/University degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong experience in the use and maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Experience with cyclotrons is an added advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
- Nuclear/radiation-related knowledge is a plus.
