ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

The Resilience Analyst will support the development and implementation of IT resilience framework to support business continuity and minimise disruption in the event of incidents. This role focuses on embedding the IT resilience framework across the organisation, consulting on backup and disaster recovery solutions, and assisting with business impact assessments and recovery planning. It will also provide oversight and reporting on ITSC metrics.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- IT Service Continuity Planning
- Support the creation, maintenance, and testing of IT service continuity plans.
- Ensure alignment of continuity plans with organisational resilience objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Resilience Framework Development

- Contribute to the design and embedding of the IT resilience framework across business units.
- Promote best practices for resilience and continuity within IT and related functions.

- Backup & Disaster Recovery Consulting

- Provide guidance on backup strategies and disaster recovery solutions for critical IT services.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to validate recovery capabilities.

- Business Impact Assessments & Recovery Activities





- Assist in conducting business impact assessments to identify critical processes and dependencies.
- Support recovery planning and execution during incidents or continuity exercises.

- Governance & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with internal resilience policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of continuity plans, recovery procedures, and test results.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk management or related business continuity activities
- Knowledge of IT service continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience frameworks.
- Experience conducting business impact assessments and continuity planning activities.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

- Familiarity with backup technologies and recovery solutions.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business
