About the Company

Internmo is offering a structured remote internship for freshers who want to begin a career in cybersecurity. The internship provides practical exposure to cybersecurity fundamentals, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, network security, and identifying and responding to common security threats.

Responsibilities

- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events, alerts, and potential threats.
- Support vulnerability assessments and basic security testing of systems and applications.
- Assist in identifying security risks, vulnerabilities, and potential attack vectors.
- Work with basic cybersecurity tools for monitoring, analysis, and threat detection.
- Assist in understanding and implementing basic network and application security practices.
- Document security findings, technical observations, and remediation recommendations clearly.
- Participate in security-related projects and practical assignments.




- Work collaboratively with remote team members and complete assigned deliverables on time.

Requirements
- Suitable for freshers with an interest in cybersecurity, information security, ethical hacking, network security, or a related area.
- Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Familiarity with concepts such as vulnerabilities, threats, authentication, access control, and basic security practices is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of Linux, networking protocols, and security tools is beneficial.
- Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or similar cybersecurity tools is an advantage.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing deadlines responsibly.

This is a paid, remote internship with a duration of 3 months and a performance-based stipend of up to ₹10,000.
