About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Expert to join our dynamic team on a remote, hourly contract basis. In this role, you will contribute to pioneering AI research projects focused on cybersecurity evaluation and assessment.

Your expertise will be instrumental in developing realistic enterprise cybersecurity scenarios, creating reference outputs, and establishing evaluation frameworks that mirror real-world security operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex security challenges, influence cutting-edge research, and collaborate with a team of industry leaders dedicated to advancing cybersecurity standards and practices.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles such as Security Engineer, CISO, or Security Lead. You should have a proven track record of managing incident response,



security architecture, or compliance initiatives.

Strong knowledge of security operations, cybersecurity tools, risk management, and current threat landscapes is essential. Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or EU NIS2 is required. Excellent analytical, technical, and written communication skills are vital to effectively articulate complex security concepts and produce comprehensive documentation.

Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are highly desirable, along with experience working within organizations like Mandiant, CrowdStrike, or major enterprise security teams.

Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive cybersecurity scenarios covering areas such as SOC monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
- Create detailed tasks across threat detection, penetration testing, security engineering, and governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
- Design and implement scenarios utilizing industry-standard tools including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, and Qualys, along with enterprise GRC platforms.
- Apply threat modeling, incident response,



and risk assessment methodologies to ensure scenarios are realistic and effective.
- Produce reference incident reports, security assessments, architecture designs, and compliance documentation to serve as benchmarks for evaluation.
- Develop rubrics that distinguish authentic enterprise security judgment from generic or textbook knowledge, ensuring high standards of evaluation and training.
