About VirtuosoQA
AI is making software faster to build and harder to trust. Release cycles have gone from quarters to days, and every enterprise now faces the same question: can you prove this release is secure to ship?
Virtuoso QA exists to answer it. Our platform tests any browser-based application, from Dynamics 365, Salesforce and SAP to custom web apps and ISV products, on a deterministic engine that behaves the same way every run. Touchstone, our governed agentic layer, reads what changed, builds and runs the right tests, and repairs what breaks. Every decision is traceable, and people approve what matters. AI proposes, humans govern.
The output is release evidence: proof a release is ready, not just a pass rate.
We're based in London and have been building AI into quality engineering since 2018 and setting the standard of proof for software releases.
Our customers include organisations where releases carry real consequences: public sector bodies, financial services, insurance, healthcare and global consultancies. They use VirtuosoQA to cut regression cycles from days to minutes, reduce test maintenance, and prove that what they ship is ready.
The Role
Customer Success at VirtuosoQA starts with one thing: understanding what the customer is trying to achieve, and why it matters.
Our customers don't buy VirtuosoQA because they want another piece of software. They buy it because they have a problem to solve. They might need to release faster. They might be losing days to manual regression testing. They might have poor test coverage, defects escaping into production, an automation suite that is expensive to maintain, or a testing bottleneck slowing their development teams down.
What you'll do
You'll own a portfolio of customers, from larger teams to some of our largest and most complex enterprise accounts, and be accountable for the value they get from VirtuosoQA across the whole relationship.
- Start with the outcome. Pick up new customers from Sales and turn what was sold into a clear, agreed definition of success: the problem, the baseline, the target and how you'll both measure it.
- Get customers to value quickly. Lead onboarding and enablement so teams are building and running meaningful tests early, not just logging in. Tailor training to the people in front of you, from manual testers to automation engineers.
- Know the difference between activity and value. Use product usage,
health data and conversations to understand whether customers are moving towards their goals. Executions and active users are signals, not the destination. Keep health data and account records current in our CRM so the whole team can see where each customer stands.
- Be the customer's advisor. Help teams apply good testing practice, prioritise the right journeys and grow their automation maturity, using maturity assessments to show where they are and what comes next. Challenge them constructively when their approach won't get them where they want to go.
- Tell the value story. Run business reviews that show what has changed for the customer (time saved, coverage gained, risk reduced) and agree what comes next.
- Protect and grow the relationship. Spot risk early and act on it. Own renewal conversations, and recognise when a customer has a new problem VirtuosoQA can solve, working with Sales on expansion.
- Be the voice of the customer. Work closely with Product, Engineering, Support and Sales, feeding back what customers need and why it matters.
- Raise the bar for the team. Share what works, mentor newer CSMs, and help shape how we run onboarding, health tracking and business reviews as we grow.
The person we're looking for
First and foremost, you need to be very good at Customer Success
You're naturally curious about customers. When someone tells you they want to "increase automation", your instinct is to ask why. What are they trying to change? Why does it matter? What happens if they don't? How will they know they've succeeded?
You can take a conversation about a product feature and connect it back to what the customer is actually trying to accomplish.
You'll also:
- Communicate exceptionally well and feel confident speaking with customers at every level
- Build trust and credibility with very different stakeholders, from hands-on testers to senior leaders
- Take ownership, rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Be proactive and comfortable working independently
- Understand the difference between customer activity and customer value
- Challenge customers constructively when it's the right thing to do
- Be commercially aware and comfortable discussing renewals and opportunities
- Know when you don't understand something, and be curious enough to find out
What you'll bring
- 4–5+ years in Customer Success or a similar customer-facing post-sales role, ideally in B2B SaaS
- A track record of managing enterprise accounts, with multiple stakeholders from hands-on users to senior leaders
- Ownership of renewals, with a history of protecting at-risk accounts and identifying expansion
- Confidence leading onboarding, training and business reviews without needing a script
- A solid understanding of how software gets built and released (the SDLC)
What would make you stand out
- A background in software testing, QA or test automation
- Experience with low-code or AI-driven test automation tools
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms (CRMs, ERPs) such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, SAP or Oracle
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines or agile delivery teams
- Experience working with regulated industries or public sector customers
Why join us?
- Work where AI meets software quality, helping enterprises trust what they release
- Look after customers whose releases genuinely matter, across government, finance, insurance and healthcare
- Real ownership of your portfolio, with the freedom to decide how best to help each customer
- Join a global team spread across UK, US, Portugal and India, guided by three simple values: Make It Happen, Own It, and Enjoy It. We create opportunities rather than wait for them, we take ownership of our work, and we celebrate our wins and our learning moments together
What we offer
- Generous paid holiday that increases year on year
- A paid day off on your birthday, every year!
- Competitive base salary, plus a performance-based compensation plan linked to customer retention and growth
- Versatile working hours
- Fully remote role, so you can do your best work from anywhere
- Private healthcare
- Wellbeing initiatives to support your mental health
- Company laptop and any other equipment you need for the role
- The opportunity to participate in the Company's share option scheme
If you care about helping customers succeed, not just keeping them happy, we'd love to hear from you.
If you're the kind of CSM who asks "why?" before "how?", we'd love to hear from you.
We can't wait to hear your story!
