Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
Schedule, monitor, and execute daily production targets based on order backlogs.
Minimize downtime by identifying and resolving bottlenecks on the shop floor.
Ensure high-quality manufacturing standards and compliance with safety regulations.
ERP & Data Management
Maintain and update accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), routing data, and inventory levels in the ERP system.
Utilize ERP modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to track work-in-progress (WIP) and material consumption.
Generate production performance reports, variance analyses, and material requirement plans (MRP).
Process Improvement
Apply Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and optimize cycle times.
Collaborate with the design and quality assurance teams to resolve manufacturing defects (NCRs).
