Set up and operate VMC/CNC machines.
Load raw materials and secure workpieces properly.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine offsets.
Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments as required.
Measure finished parts using instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Ensure components meet quality standards and dimensional tolerances.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
Record production data and report any machine issues or defects.
Follow workplace safety and quality procedures.
Required Skills
Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations.
Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T; symbols.
Familiarity with measuring instruments.
Understanding of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and quality control.
