Cruise Boat Manager

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Role Overview:

The Cruise Boat Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of cruise vessels, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and revenue growth. The role involves managing vessel operations, crew coordination, customer service, event execution, and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily cruise operations, schedules, and guest services.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and operational standards.
- Supervise and coordinate boat crew, hospitality staff, and support teams.
- Monitor vessel maintenance, cleanliness, and readiness for operations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Coordinate cruise events, corporate gatherings, private parties, and tourism experiences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with travel agents, hotels, corporates, and tourism partners.
- Monitor operational costs, inventory, and revenue performance.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain required documentation.
- Ensure timely procurement of supplies and onboard requirements.
- Coordinate with government authorities, port officials, and regulatory agencies when required.
- Implement service quality standards to enhance guest satisfaction and repeat business.





Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Experience in cruise operations, tourism, hospitality, marine services, or event management.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Knowledge of maritime safety practices and vessel operations.
- Ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Experience
- 3+ years of experience in cruise tourism, boat operations, hospitality, or marine-related services.
- Experience in managing luxury cruises, houseboats, passenger vessels, or tourism activities.
- Familiarity with Kerala tourism products and backwater cruise operations is an added advantage.
