About the Role

Uni Global Education Consultancy is looking for a Credit Process Executive to handle the initial credit assessment and documentation process for students applying for non-collateral education loans for their overseas education.

The candidate will be responsible for collecting and verifying student/co-applicant documents, reviewing banking transactions, checking credit scores and ABB (Average Bank Balance) levels, and assessing the student's financial eligibility as per applicable lender criteria.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect and organize all required documents from students and co-applicants for education loan processing.
- Verify documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before submitting them for further processing.
- Review and analyze bank statements and banking transactions of students/co-applicants.
- Check ABB (Average Bank Balance) and other relevant banking parameters required for loan eligibility.
- Check and review the applicant's credit score/CIBIL or applicable credit bureau report.
- Identify existing loans, EMIs, liabilities, bounced transactions, irregular banking activity, and other relevant financial information.
- Conduct an initial assessment to determine whether the student appears eligible for a non-collateral education loan based on applicable lender criteria.
- Enter and maintain accurate applicant information in relevant portals and systems.
- Coordinate with students and their parents/co-applicants to obtain missing or additional documents.
- Follow up with applicants regarding pending documentation and clarification of financial information.




- Coordinate with internal teams and lending/financial partners during the loan processing stage.
- Maintain proper records of applications, documents, eligibility checks, and processing status.
- Ensure student financial information and documents are handled with strict confidentiality.
- Escalate applications with discrepancies, unusual transactions, incomplete documentation, or eligibility concerns to the appropriate senior/team member.
- Maintain regular updates on the status of loan applications.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of bank statements and banking transactions.
- Basic understanding of credit scores/CIBIL reports, ABB, EMI and existing liabilities.
- Valuable analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail while checking financial documents.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
- Ability to work with online portals and financial/loan processing platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to work accurately within timelines.

Eligibility

- Qualification: Any Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Candidates with experience in education loans, banking, financial services, loan processing, credit operations, NBFCs, or financial documentation will be preferred.
- Freshers with good analytical skills and an interest in banking/financial operations are also welcome.
