Role Description The Costing Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Morbi, responsible for managing and analyzing product and production costs across Simpolo’s tiles and bathware portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include preparing cost sheets, monitoring material and overhead expenses, and analyzing variances between standard and actual costs to support pricing and profitability decisions. The role involves collaborating with finance, production, and procurement teams to implement cost control measures, validate cost data,



and ensure accurate cost allocation.

The Costing

Analyst will also support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting by providing cost insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and margins.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for cost analysis, variance identification, and data interpretation.
- Candidates should possess Cost Control and Cost Management skills to monitor expenses and optimize resource utilization.
- Candidates should possess Cost Accounting and Finance skills to prepare cost reports, support pricing, and align with financial policies.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and ERP or accounting software for data management and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certifications in cost or management accounting are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in manufacturing or ceramics industry costing is preferred.
