SoulSurfer Group

Gurugram

0–2 Years OR even Freshers | Gurugram | Full-Time

We have a slightly different hiring requirement.

We’re not looking for someone with a perfect resume.

We’re not looking for an MBA.

We’re not looking for someone who already knows everything about sales.

We’re looking for someone hungry to learn, experiment and build.

Someone who is 21, 22, 23… maybe 24…

…and is thinking:

“I don't want to spend the first few years of my career just doing what I'm told.”

We want to learn.

We want to meet people.

We want to understand how businesses actually work.

We want to make mistakes.

We want to take responsibility.

We want to build something.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

At SoulSurfer Group, we’re building a family wellbeing ecosystem across:

Mental Health

Family & Relationship Wellbeing

Parenting

Child & Teen Development

Life Skills & SEL

Corporate Wellbeing

Institutional Wellbeing (Universities, Colleges & Schools)

We’re bootstrapped, founder-led and still early.

And that's exactly what makes this role different.

When you're joining a company at this stage, your work doesn't disappear into layers of hierarchy.

Your work can actually move the company forward.

So, what are we hiring for?

Growth × Business Development × Research × Partnerships × Founder’s Office

This isn't a role where your entire day is reduced to:

“Make 100 calls.”

We want you to learn to think commercially.

To figure out

Who should SoulSurfer be talking to?

Why should they care?

Who is the right decision-maker?

How do we reach them?

How do we start a meaningful conversation?

How do we turn that conversation into a meeting?

And eventually…

How do we turn meetings into partnerships?

You’ll work across TWO very different markets:

CORPORATES

CHROs

HR Directors

CPOs

Total Rewards Leaders

Employee Experience Teams

L&D; Leaders

Wellbeing Leaders

And help us explore conversations around:

- Employee Wellbeing Programs
- Employee Assistance Programs
- Employee & Family Support
- Counselling & Therapy | Parenting & Child Support | Geriatric Counselling (For Employee's) Parents
- Corporate Wellbeing Initiatives and Learning and Development Programs for Managers and Leadership Teams

SCHOOLS • COLLEGES • UNIVERSITIES

You’ll connect with decision-makers across the education ecosystem:

Principals & School Directors

University & College Leadership

Counsellors & Student Wellbeing Teams

Deans & Student Affairs Leaders

Academic & Programme Heads

HR / People Teams in Institutions

And help institutions explore programmes around:

Student Mental Health & Wellbeing

Life Skills & Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

Parent & Family Programmes

Teacher / Faculty Development

Child & Teen Emotional Development

College & University Student Support

Counselling & Psychological Support

Communication, Confidence & Relationship Skills

Career Readiness & Life Skills

Institution-Wide Wellbeing Initiatives

But here’s where this role gets interesting.

You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO.

Initially, we don't expect you to close enterprise deals yourself.

We want you to learn how to create opportunities.

You identify the organisation.

↓

Research the organisation.

↓

Find the right person.

↓

Write the message.

↓

Make the call.

↓

Follow up.

↓

Get the meeting.

↓

And you sit in.

You listen.

You observe.

You learn.

You see what happens behind the scenes.

Discovery → Pitch → Objections → Negotiation → Proposal → Closing For someone at the beginning of their career, that's a very different learning environment from simply being handed a list of leads.

And then, as you demonstrate that you can handle it:

You’ll take the meeting yourself.

Then the account.

Then the partnership.

And eventually, perhaps, an entire vertical.

Your first KPI isn't “100 calls.”

It's

“How many meaningful conversations did you create?”

Because we don't want someone who can simply spam LinkedIn.

We want someone who can think.

Before reaching out to a company, you should know:

Who are they?

What do they do?

How big are they?

Who makes the decision?

What are they already doing?

What might they need?

And most importantly

Why should they talk to us?

We don't believe in blindly messaging 1,000 people.

We believe in intelligent outreach.

And yes, you will hear “NO.”

A lot.

Emails won't get answered.

LinkedIn messages will be ignored.

People will say they're not interested.

Meetings will get cancelled.

Some opportunities will disappear.

That's part of building.

If rejection immediately kills your motivation, this probably isn't the right role.

But if rejection makes you think:

“Okay. What can we do differently?”

…then we want to hear from you.

We’re NOT looking for the perfect candidate.

We’re looking for

Curiosity > Credentials

Hunger > Experience

Execution > Fancy Degrees

Persistence > Perfect Resume

You should be comfortable speaking to strangers.

You should be able to write a thoughtful email.

You should know your way around LinkedIn.

You should be reasonably comfortable with Google Sheets/Excel.

You should enjoy researching people and organisations.

You should be willing to make calls.

And you shouldn't need someone telling you what to do every 30 minutes.

What will you actually learn here?

Not just a designation.

You’ll get exposure to

Sales

Business Development

Enterprise Growth

Research

Partnerships

Negotiation

Strategy

Founder’s Office

Client Management

How healthcare & wellbeing actually work

And perhaps the most valuable one:

How an idea becomes a business.

There’s something we wish more young professionals considered when choosing their first few roles.

Your first few years aren't only about your salary.

They're also about

How much you learn.

Who you learn from.

What problems you're trusted to solve.

How much responsibility you get.

How close you are to the actual business.

You won't be joining after the story has already been written.

You'll be here while we're writing it.

Gurgaon / Gurugram

Full-Time

0–2 Years Experience

Freshers strongly encouraged

If you're reading this and thinking:

“This sounds like me.”

Don't worry about sending us a perfectly polished cover letter.

Tell us simply

Who are you?

Why do you want to build?

And why do you think you'd be positive at this?

Interested candidates can share their details at: [email protected]

Our HR Team will reach out to shortlisted candidates at the earliest.
