We are expanding our Corporate Advisory practice and looking for a sharp, agile and commercially oriented finance professional with experience across financial modelling, business planning, strategy, due diligence, investment advisory and transaction related assignments.

Designation : Lead Analyst

Desired qualifications: MBA Finance / CA / CFA

Location: Delhi-NCR

Desired experience: A thorough finance professional with 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial modelling, financial analysis, valuation, research, report writing and corporate advisory. Exposure to business plans, market entry strategies, commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, investment strategies and transaction advisory will be preferred. The candidate should have experience in developing financial models from scratch and translating analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.

What are we looking for (Mandatory experience & skillsets):

• Domain & financial statement understanding: Should be well versed with company financial statements and have a strong understanding of the flow of information between the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement. Should be able to analyse financial statements, underlying business drivers and key performance indicators.

• Business planning & strategy: Experience in developing business plans and growth strategies, including assessment of business models, revenue opportunities, competitive positioning, implementation priorities and financial implications.

• Financial modelling & valuation: Exceptional proficiency in building integrated financial models from scratch, with the ability to develop operating assumptions, revenue and cost drivers, financing structures, cash flows and scenario / sensitivity analyses. Experience in infrastructure, financial appraisal,



valuations, power and other capital-intensive sectors will be advantageous.

• Investment strategy: Experience in supporting investment theses and strategies through sector and company screening, opportunity assessment, financial evaluation, risk-return analysis, scenario assessment and prioritization of investment opportunities.

• Transaction advisory: Exposure to transaction-related assignments including evaluation of investment / acquisition opportunities, financial and commercial assessment, valuation and financial modelling, due diligence support and preparation of decision-support materials for stakeholders.

• Report writing & presentations: Should be proficient in preparing appraisal reports, valuation reports, industry / market reports, due diligence reports, business plans, strategy documents and management / investor presentations.

• Soft skills: Robust communication and stakeholder-management skills, commercial orientation, agility, analytical thinking, attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to work effectively in teams.

Key responsibilities:

- Support senior team members in executing corporate advisory mandates across business planning, strategy, due diligence, investment and transaction advisory.
- Build and refine financial models, valuations, scenario analyses and other analytical tools based on the requirements of assigned mandates.
- Conduct industry, market,



competitor and company research and convert findings into commercially relevant insights.
- Support preparation of business plans, market-entry strategies, investment strategies, commercial due diligence and financial due diligence deliverables.
- Analyse financial and operational information to identify key value drivers, opportunities, risks and transaction considerations.
- Prepare high-quality reports, investment / decision-support materials and PowerPoint presentations for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Interact with clients and other stakeholders to understand requirements, obtain information, discuss analyses and deliver the desired outputs.
- Support senior team members in preparing proposals, responses to RFPs, pitch decks and other business-development materials.
- Travel to client locations as and when required for fulfilment of mandate requirements.

Additionally preferred experience & skillsets:

• Market-entry strategy: Ability to assess new markets through market sizing, industry and competitive analysis, customer / segment assessment, entry options, regulatory and commercial considerations, and development of practical market-entry recommendations.

• Commercial due diligence: Experience in evaluating market attractiveness, industry trends, competitive landscape, demand drivers, customer and supplier dynamics, business-model sustainability, growth potential and key commercial risks to support investment or strategic decisions.

• Financial due diligence: Ability to analyse historical and projected financial performance, quality and sustainability of earnings, working-capital trends, cash flows, debt and other key financial matters relevant to an investment or transaction.
