Position Title: Sr. Supervisor (Mechanical)

SUMMARY

Supervisor should be well experienced in all type of works required by the Contractor and be fully capable of dealing with the operation, maintenance and overhauling of mechanical and other related equipment covered under the Contract. He should be familiar with the regulations and procedures in carrying out any modifications, alterations, new installations and minor renovations which may occur as and when required and be capable of computer aided scheduling of preventive maintenance and overhauling of the entire equipment to give smooth operation.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervisory capacity to serve as lead man for related activities.
- Must be aware of the latest Safety Regulations
- Able to implement scheduled preventive maintenance, overhauling and smooth operation of the equipment on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis.
- Maintain history cards of individual equipment.
- Maintain the updated manpower data of the Contract.
- Assure availability of enough quantity of spare parts, consumable and accessories and tools in the store for the smooth performance of job execution.
- Must be capable of group communication, co-ordination with Superintendent

Representative and all concerned and to prepare reports, and be effective in communication with the Company.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering as a minimum qualification with at least

Eight (8) years of relevant experience or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with fifteen

(15) years of experience preferably in Mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting of various equipment / systems including Building Management System. Also, hand-on experience in AutoCAD.

- Candidate must have Engineering Degree verified by Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE)

or by DataFlow Group (www.dataflowgroup.com)

- Shall be a computer Literate and must be able to read, write and speak English.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

- Diploma in Engineering or Secondary School with 2 years Industrial Training Certificate as a minimum qualification with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience in maintenance of various Mechanical equipment / systems.
- Undergone Apprenticeship training with Mechanical institute or equivalent with enough experience in the operation and maintenance of Boilers, Pumps, Fire Protection System,

Water Treatment, Piping (Water / Steam), Medical Gases etc.

- Shall be a computer Literate
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Position Title: Senior Foreman

SUMMARY

Senior Foreman shall supervise the execution of work specified in the contract and works requested by the Company site representative.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaise with Engineer for scheduling and execution of works.
- Shall distribute manpower to specific work location and follow-up progress.
- Shall prepare requisitions for maintenance supplies, supervise site work and make sure that materials, equipment and tools are properly provided.
- Shall ensure that site works are complying with Company safety standards.
- Capable of preparing maintenance schedules and reports along with routine maintenance for the complete facilities.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

- Shall have minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Secondary School + 2

years Industrial Training Certificate

- Shall have minimum 8 years of experience, of which preferable 5 years in Kuwait, in carrying out the following works:

Operation, Maintenance and overhaul of steam boilers, pumps, reverse osmosis plant,

heat exchangers, and steam operated equipment like: sterilizers, Calorifiers, different type of piping & plumbing, Fire Fighting, Ozone generator, kitchen equipment and associated equipment used in hospitals.

Position Title: Foreman (Mechanical)

SUMMARY

Foreman shall supervise the execution of work specified in the contract and works requested by the Company site representative.

heat exchangers, and steam operated equipment like: sterilizers, Calorifiers, different types of piping & plumbing, Fire Fighting, Ozone generator, kitchen equipment and associated equipment used in hospitals.

Position Title: Heavy Equipment

SUMMARY

Heavy Equipment Operator shall carry out preparation for starting Steam Boiler, Hot water

Boiler, Clean Steam Generator, Calorifire, Reverse Osmosis, De-ionizer, Medical Gas / Bulk

System, Medical Air Compressor, Medical Vacuum Pump, Anesthesia Gas Scavenging

(AGS), LPG / SNG (Synthetic Natural Gas), Fire Fighting System, Fountain System,

Pneumatic Tube System (PTS), Gas/Water Fire Heater, pumping system.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaise with Supervisor / Senior Foreman / Foreman for execution of works and assure that the job is carried out as per Specification are regulations.




- Capable of understanding job requirement, carryout effective action in a professional manner and assure the safety of the equipment.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

- Shall have complete minimum of secondary education and be Diploma holder in

Mechanical Engineering/or relevant Trade Certificate or National Apprenticeship certificate.

- Undergone basic training in operation of Boiler with Boiler Attendance Certificate.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in operation of Steam Boiler, Hot water Boiler, Clean

Steam Generator, Calorifire, Reverse Osmosis, De-ionizer, Medical Gas / Bulk System,

Medical Air Compressor, Medical Vacuum Pump, Anesthesia Gas Scavenging (AGS),

Position Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Technician

SUMMARY

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Technician shall carry out different types of maintenance and overhauling works specified in the contract and works requested by the Company Site representative. He shall have specific knowledge about the operation and maintenance of the

Sewage Lifting system, Steam Boiler, Hot Water Boiler, Clean Steam Generator, Calorifire,

Reverse Osmosis, De- Ionizer, Medical Gas, Medical Air Compressor, Medical Vacuum Pump,

Anesthesia Gas Scavenging (AGS), LPG / SNG (Synthetic Natural Gas), Fire Fighting

System, Pneumatic Tube System (PTS), Gas/Water Fire Heater and all types of pump.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaise with Mechanical Foreman for execution of works and assure that the job is carried out as per Specification are regulations.
- Capable of understanding job requirement, carryout effective action in a skilled manner and assure the safety of the equipment.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

- Technician shall have completed secondary education and formal Training from any recognized Technical Institute and shall have at least 5 years of experience in the relevant field of which preferably 2 years in Kuwait.
- Shall be fluent in spoken and written English.

Position Title: Safety Officer

SUMMARY

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Be aware of the latest Fire &
- Safety Regulations.
- Liaise with Supervising Engineer for scheduling and execution of the works.
- Shall ensure that site works are complying with company safety standards.
- Shall be responsible for inspection of all works specified in different appendices.
- Be capable of group communication, coordination with all concerned people and prepare safety reports.
- Liaise with supervising engineers to ensure satisfactorily handling the works.
- Evaluate and recommend control measures to prevent accidents.
- Capable of implementing the Environmental guidelines and regulations for operational purposes.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

- Should have a minimum Diploma in Engineering or should be a graduate in Science
- Must have attended one or more HSE course(s) in any category of training in General industrial Safety, Construction Safety, etc.

NEBOSH / OSHA / IOSH / Certificate or Diploma n Safety is an added advantage.

- Shall be subject to interview/trade test by the Company HSSE Team.
- Shall have at least four (8) years experience in the relevant field.

Position Title

Welder/Fabricator

SUMMARY

Welders shall carry out different welding / cutting jobs, both Arc-welding and oxyacetylene Welding.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaise with Foreman for execution of works and assure that the job is carried out as per specification and regulations.
- Capable of understanding Engineering drawing and carrying out different welding job as per specifications.
- Shall be able to strictly follow all basic safety regulations specified by the Company.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

- Shall have completed the minimum of Secondary Education and Industrial Training

Course and Test Certificate to pass the welding Trade Test by KOC.

- Shall have at least 5 years’ experience in the relevant field of which preferably 2 years in

Kuwait

/ Middle East.

- Must be able to read, write and speak English

Position Title

Control Technician (Mech.)

SUMMARY

Control / Instrumentation Technician should be well experienced in various Mechanical

Equipment Control / Building Management System and shall execute the work as specified in the

Contract and works requested by the Company Site Representative.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaise with the Foremen for execution of works.
- Capable of reading Mechanical Equipment Control / electrical / instrumentation /

P &

- ID drawings with a fair knowledge of control wiring and troubleshooting.
- Capable of rectifying electrical motors and rewinding defective motors.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

- Should have minimum Secondary School Education with training and an Electronic or

Instrumentation Certificate from the recognized Technical Training Institute.

- Shall be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Shall have at least minimum 8 years’ experience in Mechanical Equipment Control /

Microprocessor / Building Management System installation and maintenance, 2 years in

Kuwait (preferably).

SUMMARY

Position Title: Storekeeper

SUMMARY

Store Keeper shall maintain enough quality of required spare parts, tools, accessories and consumables in the store.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaise with above mentioned Contractor’s staff and make arrangement for storing required spare parts, tools, accessories and consumables.
- Shall distribute required accessories for carrying out different jobs promptly.
- Shall maintain a record of vital spare parts available in the store.

- Shall have completed minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma Eng. In relevant discipline
- Shall be familiar with different type of spare parts, tools, accessories and Consumables.
- Shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the relevant field.

Position Title: Driver

SUMMARY

Driver shall carry out different type of works including transportation of Contractors staff within the site location, materials, delivery of mail etc. assigned by the Mech. Foreman.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaise with Mechanical Foreman for execution of works and assure that the job is carried out promptly and on time.

- Should have valid Kuwaiti driving license with minimum 5 years of experience of which 2 years in Kuwait preferably.

SUMMARY

Helper (Mechanical) shall be semi-skilled and shall assist skilled workers (Fitter) in maintenance and overhauling works.

SUMMARY
