Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the continuing airworthiness of aircraft and ensuring aircraft remain in an airworthy condition.
- Establish, implement and maintain the Continuing Airworthiness Management System in accordance with applicable DGCA / CAR-CAMO requirements.
- Develop, review and monitor the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP).
- Plan, coordinate and monitor scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including line and base maintenance activities.
- Ensure timely compliance with Airworthiness Directives, Mandatory Service Bulletins, DGCA Mandatory Modifications and other mandatory requirements.
- Monitor aircraft utilisation, maintenance due items, life-limited components and other continuing-airworthiness requirements.
- Ensure proper control, updating and retention of technical and airworthiness records.
- Coordinate with approved CAR-145 Maintenance Organisations, aircraft manufacturers / TC holders and DGCA on technical and continuing-airworthiness matters.
- Ensure modifications and repairs are accomplished using approved data and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor maintenance activities through completion and certification, including Certificate of Release to Service.
- Review and ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, findings and observations.
Minimum Qualification
- Relevant Engineering Degree / Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering qualification from a DGCA-approved institute.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of aviation experience, including at least 2 years in a CAMO Department.
- Experience in a CAMO management position / CAM (DGCA Form 4) will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance programmes, airworthiness directives, modifications, repairs and continuing-airworthiness requirements.
