Role Description The Content Strategist is a full-time role responsible for planning, developing, and managing content across digital and offline channels to support Gorkha Ventures’ brand, programs, and founder ecosystem. In this hybrid role based in Dehradun, the Content Strategist will work both onsite at the flagship facility and remotely, creating content roadmaps aligned with organizational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting audience and market research, defining content themes and messaging, collaborating with program, marketing, and founder-facing teams, and overseeing the production of articles, web copy, social media content, and campaign assets.

The role also involves maintaining content calendars,



optimizing content for reach and engagement, ensuring consistency of voice and narrative, and measuring performance using analytics.

The Content

Strategist will contribute to thought leadership initiatives, support event and program communications, and help position Gorkha Ventures as a leading startup ecosystem in Uttarakhand and beyond.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Content Strategy and Content Development skills to design and execute cohesive, impact-driven content plans.
- Candidates should possess Content Management skills to organize, maintain, and optimize content across platforms and channels.
- Candidates should possess Web Content Writing and Writing skills to craft clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate narratives.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with startup ecosystems, entrepreneurship, or innovation-focused organizations.
- Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with content and project management tools, basic analytics, and an understanding of digital channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
- Prior experience in content strategy or content roles within startups, incubators, accelerators, or mission-driven organizations is an advantage.
