Overview

GCC Business Intellgence L10 role sits within the US Pepsi Lipton Partnership, a joint venture between PepsiCo and Unilever. As a company in its own right, the joint venture has its own board of directors and runs as a separate entity on a day to day basis. All the employees come from and maintain their contract with one of the 2 parent companies, and this role gives a unique perspective as you gain access to both.

GCC Business Intelligence role is an integral part of PLP US Insights function leading strategic portfolio insights, building advanced analytics capability and being the go to expert on marketplace analytics & intelligence with managerial responsibities of 2 full time junior resources.

Responsibilities

- Delivering business intelligence/insights on day to day tactical business performance reporting as well strategic business initiatives ( AOP, Situation Assessment, Competitive Intelligence, Innovation Benchmarking, Growth Navigator) by unlocking value from existing data sets such as Occasion tracking, Circana, etc. via advanced analytics and modelling – i.e. cluster analyses, segmentation, etc.
- Demonstrate flexibility and thought leadership by responding to evolving business needs via ad hoc analytic projects across both Insights and Sales Strategy
- Proactively spot opportunities/trends relevant to business context to deliver insights that unlock more growth for the business
- Act as a business partner working with PLP business & growth agenda with cross functional teams – Commercial, RGM, Marketing etc
- Be an ambassador and champion to deliver analysis and insights anchored in growth principles- Growth Navigator
- Act as thought leader to drive synergies with both PBUS and PLI GCC analytics teams in terms of business context, data analysis,



capabilities builds and best practice sharing
- Accelerate Digital transformation agenda to build robust foundation of data analysis for business reviews
- Manage and own performance, career development for full time resources

Qualifications

- 12-15 years of Insights & Analytics experience in CPG/F&B; industry
- Strong knowledge of sales, insights and analytics role, process and tools like Circana/Nielsen, IBevs, Household panel. Hand on experience on Retail POS and Consumer Panel is a MUST
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Existing knowledge of Pepsico systems/hierarchies/data preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communications with senior level management.
- Solid presentational and story telling skills moving beyond the findings
- Ability to navigate and build relationships within a matrixed organization
- Strong project management skills and demonstrate ability to delegate/manage workload with the team
- Self-motivated/self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Inspiration people manager, being a coach and mentor to effectively manage the team. Knowledge and application of SUPER5 and GREAT 5 for effective team management
