The RoleWe are looking for a Consultant in Internal Medicine & Critical Care to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, with a key focus on the diagnosis and management of adult medical conditions and critically ill patients.

The role will include

- Comprehensive clinical assessment and management of adult medical patients
- Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of a broad range of medical conditions
- Management and stabilisation of emergency and critically ill patients
- Ordering and interpretation of diagnostic investigations
- Clinical rounds and coordination of multidisciplinary patient care
- Supervision of ICU and step-down/high-dependency units




- Development and implementation of evidence-based clinical protocols
- Ensuring adherence to quality, safety and infection-control standards
- Training and mentoring junior doctors, residents and clinical staff
- Participation in clinical audits and hospital committees

Qualifications

- MBBS with MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or equivalent recognised qualification
- Formal training/fellowship in Critical Care Medicine preferred
- Strong clinical expertise in Internal Medicine with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions
- Advanced skills in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in training and mentoring junior doctors and clinical staff
- Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice in Goa
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience
- Freshers with the appropriate qualifications and a robust interest in Internal Medicine & Critical Care are also encouraged to apply
