About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant to join our growing SAP practice. This role offers a unique blend of application support, continuous improvement, global rollouts, and transformation projects within a complex manufacturing landscape.

The ideal candidate shall have strong hands-on expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), working knowledge of Quality Management (QM), and exposure to SAP S/4HANA. You will play a key role in supporting business-critical manufacturing processes while contributing to strategic initiatives including rollouts, enhancements, system upgrades, and digital transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Support & Business Partnership

- Provide functional expertise and support for SAP PP processes, ensuring stable operations and timely resolution of business-critical issues.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex incidents, service requests, and process issues within agreed SLAs.
- Work closely with business users to understand challenges, identify root causes, and recommend sustainable solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and user experience.

Projects, Rollouts & Enhancements

- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and transformation initiatives across business units.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design discussions.
- Configure SAP PP/QM solutions and support realization, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Support global template deployments and process harmonization initiatives.
- Contribute to S/4HANA adoption and manufacturing process modernization programs.

Functional & Technical Delivery

- Deliver SAP PP/QM solutions across support, enhancement, rollout, and transformation initiatives within manufacturing environments.
- Configure and optimize SAP PP processes including MRP, Demand Management, Production Orders, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Confirmations, REM, and Production Reporting.
- Support and enhance SAP QM processes including Inspection Lots, MICs, Sampling Procedures, Results Recording,



Usage Decisions, and Quality Notifications.
- Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP teams on enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows.
- Drive data migration, SIT/UAT, defect resolution, cutover, and go-live support activities.
- Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, QM, PM, WM/EWM, MES, and third-party applications.
- Provide expert-level production support, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement recommendations.
- Contribute to SAP S/4HANA rollouts, Fiori adoption, and manufacturing transformation initiatives.
- Support knowledge sharing, user training, and mentoring of junior team members.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

1. 5-7 years of SAP consulting experience with robust expertise in SAP PP.
2. Experience supporting manufacturing organizations in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
3. Minimum 1-2 years of SAP S/4HANA experience and prior manufacturing domain exposure.
4. At least one end-to-end SAP implementation or rollout project experience.
5. Strong expertise in SAP PP configuration, business process design, and manufacturing process flows.
6. Strong hands-on experience with MRP, production planning, production execution, and master data management.
7. Proven ability to convert business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and prepare high-quality functional specifications for enhancements and custom developments.
8. Experience with MES integrations and manufacturing interfaces.
9. Experience in testing, defect management, and issue resolution.
10. Exposure to data migration, cutover planning, hypercare, and post-go-live support.
11. Working knowledge of SAP QM processes, including Inspection Lots, MICs, Sampling Procedures, Result Recording, Usage Decisions, and Quality Notifications.

Good to Have

- Working knowledge of SAP PM.
- Exposure to SAP APO, PP/DS, or ePPDS.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, CHARM,



and ITIL-based support processes.
- SAP S/4HANA certification.
