Identifies the CIs and products. Plans and manages a population of the Configuration Management S ystem. Controls the receipt, identification, storage, and withdrawal of all supporte CIs. Provides and maintains information on CMDB.
Directs, prioritizes and schedules audits, ensures that any corrective action identified in Process and/or Database audits are carrie out. Interfaces with other processes and CI owners to ensure they follow the defined Configuration Management process. Ensure regular housekeeping of the CMDB.
