1. SOP & Process Compliance

● Independently audit and monitor all existing SOPs (operational, financial, HR, retail, and administrative) — each owned and authored by the respective department heads (HODs) — through checklists, audit reports, and site visits, ensuring they are followed correctly across all Kerala locations and business verticals. The Compliance Officer’s role is limited to independent review, audit, and enforcement, and does not extend to authoring or owning SOP content, in order to preserve audit independence. ● Conduct periodic compliance audits and "red flag" reviews of SOPs, processes, and documentation, identifying gaps; report any deviations or violations to the CEO without delay, along with recommended corrective/remedial action.
1. Risk Management & Internal Controls

● Identify operational and legal risks across entities and recommend mitigation frameworks. ● Support internal investigations, audits, and forensic reviews as required, working alongside HR/Legal and external counsel when necessary.





● Maintain a compliance risk register and present periodic risk assessments to the CEO.

1. Policy Implementation & Governance

● Support rollout and monitoring of group SOPs and policies across Kerala locations. ● Ensure recent brand/location rollouts (e.g., new showroom or entity launches) are supported by complete SOP and compliance documentation before go-live.

● Maintain a central compliance documentation repository for all entities.

1. Reporting

● Prepare and present periodic compliance reports/dashboards directly to the CEO, highlighting audit findings, risk areas, and status of corrective actions. ● Provide ad hoc reports on specific compliance investigations or incidents as required by leadership.
1. Training & Awareness

● Conduct periodic training/awareness sessions for staff and location managers on SOP adherence, statutory obligations, and compliance best practices. ● Act as the first point of contact for compliance-related queries from location/department heads.
