Role Description The College Admission Counsellor will work full time on-site at Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad. The role involves guiding prospective students and their families through the admission process, providing detailed information on programs, eligibility criteria, campus facilities, and career pathways. The counsellor will handle inquiries via in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and online channels, maintain accurate records of leads and applications, and follow up to support timely admissions.

Daily responsibilities include conducting campus tours, participating in outreach events, school visits, and education fairs,



and coordinating with academic departments to ensure clear, updated admission information. The counsellor will also support admission campaigns, assist with documentation and verification, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and student-centered experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse students, families, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide responsive, supportive, and professional assistance throughout the admission journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, including lead management and conversion, to promote TMU’s programs ethically and transparently.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, preferably in academic advising, counselling, or higher education administration.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in education, management, counseling, psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Additional beneficial skills include proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, strong organizational and documentation abilities, fluency in English and Hindi, and the capacity to work collaboratively with admission and academic teams.
- Prior experience in college admissions, student counselling, or educational sales in a university or institution is highly desirable.
